FOOTBALL: Possible redshirt turns into starter

During the offseason last summer, there was a possibility that Dedrick Cromartie would redshirt. As a true freshman free safety for the Ball State football team that was buried on the depth chart, he wasn’t sure what his role would be.

For Ozzie Mann, sitting on the bench may have worked out in his favor. The redshirt sophomore on the Ball State football team spent five and a half games on the bench after losing the starting quarterback position to Jack Milas heading into the homecoming game against Western Michigan on Oct.

First quarter At the end of the first quarter, Ball State trails Bowling Green 21-7. Bowling Green Started its first drive off on its own 25-yard line.

FOOTBALL: Ball State defeats Eastern Michigan on Senior Day

In a season full of heartbreak, everything seemed to go Ball State’s way on Saturday. The Ball State football team defeated Eastern Michigan 45-30, giving the team its fourth win of the season.

Second Quarter At halftime, Ball State leads Eastern Michigan 28-3. Bronson Hill brought the ball past midfield, but the drive stalled and Ball State took over on its own 13 after a punt.
