Comments
The Daily News encourages reader comments and criticisms of our work. The website provides a forum for readers to post comments below every article, unless the editorial board deems it appropriate to not allow online comments to a particular story.
The editor-in-chief or managing editor may delete any online comment he or she deems inappropriate. Examples of inappropriate comments may include comments that threaten a person or institution; hate speech and racist language; or commenting using a pseudonym or fake account.
Letters to the editor
The Daily News welcomes reader viewpoints and offers four vehicles of expression for reader opinions: letters to the editor, guest columns, feedback on our website and phone responses.
The limit for letter length is approximately 500 words. All letters must be typed and submitted to editor@bsudailynews.com. The editor-in-chief reserves the right to edit and condense submissions for length and clarity.
