About The Daily News
The Ball State Daily News is the national award-winning, on-campus student newspaper at Ball State University, located in Muncie, Indiana. We are an independent news organization, with the mission of providing the campus and Muncie community with breaking news and accurate, timely information.
The print edition of the newspaper is published every Thursday during the academic year, except during exams or vacations. The newspaper is available, free to students, at various locations on the university campus. The paper has a circulation of 10,000.
The Ball State Daily News traces its roots to 1922, when the paper first published under the name The Easterner.
