Ball State women’s basketball is slated to face Ole Miss in the first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Tournament. 

The Cardinals are one day removed from winning the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Championship against Toledo and are heading to the dance for the first time since 2009. 

In that 2009 tournament, the Cardinals upset previous national champions Tennessee in the first round of play.
