Ball State women’s basketball fell to Ole Miss 83-65 in the first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.
The class of 2025 played their final game in a Ball State uniform with the loss.
Here is a report card on how the seniors played.
Ally Becki
- 19 points
- 8-for-16 from the field
- Three rebounds
- Two assists
Becki ends her Ball State career with a stellar performance on a national stage. 50 percent from the field and 19 points.
Lachelle Austin
- 13 points
- 6-for-13 from the field
- Eight rebounds
- One assists
Austin only had one year in a Ball State jersey, but the senior was a vital part of the Cardinals' season-long success.

Madelyn Bischoff
- Six points
- 2-for-9 from the field
- Three rebounds
Bischoff gave Ball State a 7-0 lead to start the game after she banked in a 3-pointer.
Marie Kiefer
- Six points
- 2-for-8 from the field
- Five rebounds
- One assists
Kiefer was dealing with foul trouble early in the contest but was battling in the paint all night with Ole Miss.
Alex Richard
- Six points
- 2-for-6 from the field
- Two rebounds
Richard is coming off a 28-point game in the MAC Tournament Championship, but the Rebels were able to consistently stay on her all night.
Graduate student Elise Stuck
- Four points
- 4-for-4 on free throws
- Three rebounds
Stuck finished out her collegiate career by doing what she did all season, getting to the free throw line.
Graduate student Maliyah Johnson
- Five points
- 2-for-3 from the field
- Three rebounds
Johnson transferred in this year, and she was often the sixth person off the bench to rotate in.
