In need of a mentor? Check out Pathways!
Pathways, a mentoring program, matches undergraduate and graduate students, particularly from marginalized backgrounds, with faculty, staff, community professionals, and alumni associated with Ball State University.
Through the Pathways program, you will receive $250 worth of funding, support to apply to graduate school, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities.

Have a faculty project? Submit for a grant!
The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs will support innovative faculty projects by awarding grants. Funding is available to provide stipends to faculty during the summer. A brief report summarizing the summer grant work is required.
Proposals should include the following and cannot be more than two pages total.
- Project goals and objectives
- Background and rationale for the project, including a statement as to how the project relates to department, college, and/or University assessment plans
- Description of project activities and anticipated results
- The amount of funding requested (up to $500.00 per faculty member, not to exceed a total of $1,500 per faculty team)
- Support for the project provided by the department or college (e.g., supplies, graduate assistant wages, etc.) as appropriate
- Name(s) of faculty member(s) who will carry out the project
- Affirmation that the department chair and college dean are aware of the project and endorse it

Museum Accepting Applications for Summer 2025 Interns
Are you interested in exploring the museum field? The David Owsley Museum of Art (DOMA) will accept internship applications from February 1 through 28. DOMA internships are paid and offer hands-on and practical experience for students.
Applicants can come from any major, but a strong interest in art is desired. Those who are hired will have to complete at least 150 hours and will have to attend a museum orientation at the beginning of the semester!
To apply students must fill out an application and submit a cover letter, resume, and transcript. Applications can be submitted here.
