MUNCIE, Ind. —The A-Team, a local business in Muncie, has grown from a food truck to a brick and mortar. This change creates more opportunities for the business and its clients.
“Having the building is going to be able to have us have parties and things like that,” owner Jennifer Wilson said. “There is just not a lot of places in Muncie to go to have a party that you want, that’s not like a big fancy party.”
A – Team provides events including showers, birthday parties, receptions and many more events.
All events vary in the formality of the setting, and the new building is customized to fit all occasions.
The food truck has even collaborated with Ball State in the past. Students may still be able to taste the “Cardinal Corn” that was created and made by the A- Team.
They have also run the concessions stands at several of Ball State’s sporting events.
Wilson shares what the growth of the business means to her.
“I love Muncie, and I love growing here. I have a large family, and I just want them to be proud of us and hopefully have something that they will want to carry on as well.”
According to Wilson, the food is all made from scratch, and she will never serve her customers frozen food.
The opening ceremony had all things food for the community to get a taste of what she has to offer.
