It has been a hot a dry September, and It has been 12 straight days on no rain for Muncie.
Tonight: Warm night ahead with calm winds. Most clear with a low around 60 degrees.
Tomorrow: Expect a real hot one out there with temperatures pushing 90 degrees with sunny skies . Definite want to hydrate if you have any activities outside. Winds will be around 5 mph.
7-Day: The heat is here to stay all because of a high pressure system is stuck between two low pressure systems, creating a stagnant weather pattern. Much needed rain looks to be in our future begging Sunday which will finally be breaking our dry streak. Despite this, we will still experience drought conditions because of how dry the soil currently is. The burn ban for a lot of our viewing area is still in effect.
