Monday (Sept. 23)
Muncie Central Boys soccer hosted county rival Yorktown in a match in which the Bearcats would be the victors 5-0. Senior Oliver Beane led the purple and white with three goals in the contest.
Delta Boys soccer took on Wapahani in a home contest, and the Eagles would win 9-0. Leading the navy and gold was junior Maddox Huffman who tallied four goals in the match.
Delta volleyball hit the road to take on Mississinewa in a match the Eagles would win in three sets 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-22). Delta Junior led the road team with fourteen kills.
Muncie Central Girls soccer hosted Muncie Burris in a county matchup. The Owls would come out on top winning the match 9-0. No stats could be found.
Muncie Burris hit the court against Noblesville in a contest the Owls would lose in four sets 3-1 (15-25, 22-25, 25-17, 17-25). Leading the blue and yellow was senior Lilly Howell with nineteen kills in the match.
Cowan volleyball traveled to Mid-Eastern Conference (MEC) foe Eastern Hancock where the Blackhawks would fall in three sets 3-0 (13-25, 20-25, 18-25). No stats could be found.
Tuesday (Sept. 24)
Yorktown Girls soccer traveled to Wapahani defeating the Raiders 9-0. Leading the charge for the Tigers were juniors Harper Mitchell and Kylie Patton, and senior Clara McCammon who each notched two goals.
Delta Girls soccer went on the road to take on Jay County. The Eagles would take the win in the match by a score of 2-0. The road squad was led by juniors Jordan Bunch and Aubree Jarrells who each scored a goal in the match.
Delta volleyball hit the court at home against Muncie rival Muncie Central. The Eagles would come out on top in three sets sweeping the Bearcats 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-11). Leading the way for the navy and gold were senior Addie Phillippe and junior Maddie Grove who each notched ten kills. No stats could be found for Muncie Central.
Wapahani Boys soccer traveled to Blackford to take on the Bruins. The Eagles took the win in the match 4-1. No stats could be found.
Wednesday (Sept. 25)
Wes-Del volleyball hosted Frankton in a match the Warriors would lose in three sets 3-0 (13-25, 9-25, 20-25). Leading the maroon and white was senior Amelia Hudson-Roberts with five kills.
Yorktown Boys soccer went on the road to battle Centerville. The Tigers and Bulldogs would end the match in a 1-1 tie. Yorktown senior Carter Maddox scored the lone goal for the green and white.
Yorktown volleyball hit the road to face conference rival Greenfield-Central. The Tigers would sweep the Cougars 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-9). Leading the green and black was senior Shanese Williams with seventeen kills.
Muncie Burris Boys soccer clashed against county rival Delta in a match in which the Owls would come out on top 1-0. Muncie Burris senior Liam Hannon scored the lone goal for the blue and yellow.
Muncie Central Boys soccer went on the road facing Daleville where the Bearcats would win 9-0. Leading the purple and white was freshman Brayden Escamilla who tallied five goals in the match.
Wapahani volleyball hit the road to take on MEC conference rival Monroe Central. The Raiders defeated the Golden Bears in three sets 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-11). The red and white were led by junior Kami Rivers who notched thirteen kills.
Daleville volleyball clashed with conference foe Shenandoah in a road contest the Broncos won in three sets 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-20). The black and gold were led by Trishell Johnson who tallied twenty kills in the match.
Thursday (Sept. 26)
Wes-Del volleyball traveled to Indianapolis Metropolitan to take on the Pumas. The Warriors would win in sweeping fashion 3-0 (25-8, 25-3, 25-8). Warriors senior Amelia Hudson-Roberts led with nine kills.
Yorktown Girls soccer hosted Jay County in a home match for the Tigers. The green and white would fall in the contest 2-1. No stats could be found.
Yorktown volleyball hit the court at home against Cathedral in a match the Tigers would win in four sets 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23). Seniors Ariane Wright and Shanese Williams led the green and white with fourteen kills each.
Delta Girls soccer took on county foe Wapahani. The Eagles convincingly won the match 11-1. Leading the navy and gold was junior Jordan Bunch with four goals in the game. No stats could be found for Wapahani.
Muncie Central Boys soccer took on Centerville in a home match. The Bearcats took the victory 3-0. The purple and black were led by sophomores Lucas Babb and Judah Smith and junior Angel Rueda who each scored a goal.
Wapahani volleyball took on Alexandria-Monroe in a home match. The Raiders came out on top, sweeping the Tigers 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-17). Leading the home team was junior Tatum Dudley with ten kills.
Muncie Burris Girls soccer hosted New Castle where the Owls fell to the Trojans 3-1. No stats could be found.
Muncie Burris volleyball went on the road to face off against Frankton. The Owls defeated the Eagles in a sweep 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-23). Muncie Burris senior Lilly Howell racked up thirteen kills to lead the blue and yellow.
Friday (Sept. 27)
Muncie Central football went on the road to take on the Kokomo Wildkats falling 28-0. No stats could be found.
Delta football traveled to face off against HHC rival New Castle. The Eagles would fall in their third straight game 14-16. No stats could be found.
Saturday (Sept. 28)
Muncie Burris volleyball competed in a three-match tournament facing off against Bethesda Christian, University, and Seton Catholic in that order. The Owls would finish the day undefeated winning all three contests in two sets.
Cowan volleyball participated in a three-match tournament against Wes-Del, Lafayette Central Catholic, and Southwood. The Blackhawks went 1-2 on the day defeating the Warriors in two sets 2-0 (25-9, 25-12) but falling to the Knights of Southwood and Lafayette Central Catholic both in two sets.
Yorktown Boys soccer went on the road to face Anderson where the Tigers would fall 5-0.
Yorktown volleyball took on Carroll and Noblesville defeating both opponents in three sets. Tigers senior Ariane Wright led the way with 21 kills between both contests.
Delta Girls soccer hosted Mt. Vernon where the Eagles would fall 5-1. Junior Aubree Jarrells scored the lone goal for the navy and gold.
Delta volleyball took on Shelbyville at home sweeping the Golden Bears 3-0 (25-10, 25-8, 25-16). Leading the Eagles was freshman Kyra Murry with eleven kills.
Daleville volleyball competed in a three-match tournament taking on Frankton, Edinburgh, and Eastern Hancock in that order. The Broncos went undefeated on the day taking down the Eagles, and Lancers in two sets, while it took three to defeat the Royals. Leading the black and gold was sophomore Maddie Rees with 44 kills between the three matches.
