MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State Baseball finds themselves winners of their last 11 of 12. Winners of their previous two going for the sweep. Catcher Hunter Dobbins can be credited with a huge amount of contributions after 4 home runs and 10 RBIs on the weekend.
“Feels good, I've been working pretty hard, trying to get back to where I was,” Dobbins said.
Manager Rich Maloney credits everyone on the team’s sweep but is really happy to have Dylan Grego back.
“Having Grego back is a big deal for us,” said Maloney.
Dylan Grego is the Cards' third baseman, and his glove is one of the most important on the team. The Cardinals are climbing the MAC baseball standings after starting 1-7 and are now 10-8.
Manager Rich Maloney said, “We put ourselves in the mix, but we still have to win a lot more games.”
There are 19 crucial games remaining in the season, and Coach Maloney mentioned that they have to make it to the Mac Tournament. That tournament is played from May 21st through the 26th as the top four teams make the tournament.
The Cardinals are on the road on April 16th against the Boilermakers of Purdue.
