A new record high for Feb. 8 in Muncie was set today as we reached a high of 62 degrees!
Tonight: A mild night with a few isolated light showers possible. Winds will be gusty with gusts up to 35 mph. Be sure to secure any loose outdoor objects!
Tomorrow: Another spring-like day with temperatures nearing yet another record. Highs will climb into the lower 60s. It will be a mixture of clouds and sun throughout the day, before becoming overcast by nightfall. Winds will stay persistently breezy, with gusts up to 25 mph.
Seven-Day Forecast: A second cold front will pass through the area Friday night, bringing some rain showers through early Saturday morning. This weekend will be pleasant and dry until an interesting system sets up for Monday. Models right now have a low pressure system tracking through Kentucky, bringing us snow showers throughout Monday afternoon and overnight. If this system wobbles a little north, all precipitation has the potential to fall as rain. We will be keeping an eye on this system as it nears. Otherwise, tranquil conditions and average temperatures paint the remainder of the seven days.
