MUNCIE, Ind.--- Freshmen twins Hailey and Olivia Smith are looking to get a kickstart to their season. They're working to hone their skills following a deep high school playoff run their previous year.
Making it to first team all-conference in high school after Olivia averaged nine points, five rebounds and three assists alongside Hailey’s 91% from the paint, the twins look to make a splash in their first year as Cardinals. The twins both share their expectations and adjustments they are making for the upcoming season.
“Really taking care of my body for real...like in high school you can get away with eating bad. Going to sleep late, but straight when I came here it was literally like, I had to go to bed at 10 p.m.. Get on a new eating plan, definitely taking care of my body.”
The Smith twins and the Cardinals continue to work hard ahead of the year. They look to go above and beyond in their season opener Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Worthen Arena against the Trine Thunder.
