MUNCIE, Ind.--- In a year full of booming club sports at Ball State, Badminton club is the latest to be added.
If badminton is your thing, this is exactly the place for you. Founded by Elaine Andrews, the club is open to everyone who wants to get involved and they are constantly hoping for more.
“It was really hard to get it started, it was, like, never done before at Ball State so you had to go through a bunch of meetings and you had to go through a four step process and make the Bennylink,” said Andrews.
The club is not just an environment to play, but gives you an opportunity for more.
“I really enjoy being here because I get to meet new people who love the sport, since nobody’s in my major here, a break from school and a break from daily life,” explains member Emily Howell.
Practices for the badminton club are on Wednesday’s from 8-9:30 p.m. and Friday’s 8-9 p.m. Rackets and Birdies are provided.
