Muncie Central's baseball opening day is just a couple weeks away. The team is currently practicing working on fundamentals preparing for the upcoming season. The Bearcats are hoping to improve from their 1-20 record last season.
Coming into this season the Bearcats hired a Muncie Central baseball alumni, Jason Kubrik, who graduated back in 2006. Coach Kubrick is proud to be back in the Bearcats program and is ready to improve from last season. Kubrick wants to show his team what it means to be a Bearcat and teach them good character in school -- not just performing on the field but in the classroom.
The Bearcats will keep preparing over the next few weeks to improve on their record from last season, with an alumni leading the way.
Muncie Central will face the New Castle at home on March 30 at 5 P.M.
