Welcome back to NewsLink Indiana for the Spring 2022 semester! After a cold weekend with temperatures in the lower 20s, temperatures on an upward trend this week! We reached a high of 31 degrees this afternoon, and temperatures will climb even higher into this week!
Tonight: A cold night is in store as decreasing cloud cover overnight will help drop temperatures significantly. Temperatures will be in the mid single digits around 5 degrees by the time we get to daybreak Tuesday. Winds will be light out of the southwest at 5-10 MPH.
Tomorrow: For the first time since last Thursday, temperatures will be above freezing! We top out at a high temperature of 35 degrees under partly cloudy skies by tomorrow afternoon. A breezy day is also on tap. Winds out of the southwest will help to boost our temperatures, with sustained winds at 15 MPH and gusts up to 25 MPH. Temperatures tomorrow night will only drop to the freezing mark, with breezy southerly winds continuing at 15 MPH.
7 Day Forecast: Look for intermittent periods of sun and clouds on the MITS 7 Day forecast, with the best chances for precipitation returning on Friday. We'll see a mix of snow and rain then, with a high of 42 degrees. Temperatures moderate back to below average levels by the start of next week.
