As you continue with your online classes this semester, you may feel an increase in your stress levels and caffeine intake. Instead of sipping your favorite coffee or tea in a boring, ceramic cup before logging onto Canvas for the day, consider these three ways to create your own stylish, unique coffee mug to add to your desk decor.
Monogrammed Coffee Mug
What you’ll need:
White coffee mug
Circle sponge brush
Paint of your choosing
Alphabet stickers
White acrylic paint marker
Directions:
With your mug’s handle facing toward the left, spell out your name in the middle of the cup using the alphabet stickers.
Using the circle sponge brush, paint layers of dots over the letters in any color(s) of your choice.
Let the paint dry completely.
Carefully remove the alphabet stickers from your mug.
In any place where the paint bled through the sticker, paint over these mistakes with a white acrylic paint marker.
Let your coffee mug dry completely before using.
Enjoy your monogrammed coffee mug.
Musical Coffee Mug
What you’ll need:
White coffee mug
Music note stickers
Black acrylic paint marker
Bling stickers (optional)
Directions:
With your mug’s handle facing toward the left, using your black acrylic paint marker to draw a large music note in the middle of the mug.
Arrange the music note stickers anywhere on your mug
Write out your favorite lyrics, artists or songs using the black acrylic paint marker.
While the paint is drying, place the bling stickers anywhere on the mug
Let your mug dry completely before using.
Enjoy your musical coffee mug.
Autumn Leaves Coffee Mug
What you’ll need:
White coffee mug
Acrylic paint markers in light orange, orange, red and dark red
Directions:
With your mug’s handle facing toward the left, using the orange acrylic paint marker to write the word ‘Autumn’ on the front of your coffee mug.
Alternating between the light orange, red and dark red acrylic markers, paint leaves around the mug.
Let your coffee mug dry completely before using.
Enjoy your autumn leaves coffee mug.
