MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) - After a week of record breaking or near record breaking heat, temperatures cooled down just in time for a fall-themed Arts Walk to kick off in downtown Muncie Thursday.
From live bands, to pony rides, to local craftsmen, there was something for everyone.
Plus, in the spirit of an early Halloween, there was a pumpkin carving contest. Cash prizes were given for the most creative, scariest, and funniest pumpkins. Downtown business owners say events like these help bring people downtown.
Events like Arts Walk go on every first Thursday of the month. For more information on events downtown you can go to www.downtownmuncie.org.
