Nation protests acting Attorney General, Muncie included
Protests broke out around the nation today regarding the resignation of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions and who was chosen to replace him.
Protestors are concerned that acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker may interfere with Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump administration.
Ball State student Robert Coleman organized the protest in Muncie.
“I knew that there was a rapid response protest movement for the United States, and once I looked I saw that Muncie did not have one yet. So I decided to step up and create one.”
Over 30 people took to the sidewalk outside of Muncie City Hall in order to make their voices and concerns heard.
“It’s important for all cities to be heard. They’re going to show that they care and they’re not going to lie down about it,” added Coleman.
