Theta Chi's national board of directors has revoked the charter of the Delta Kappa chapter on Ball State's campus.
The university has withdrawn recognition of the chapter, effective immediately, as a result of the revocation.

Kathy Wolf, vice president for marketing and communications, said members living in the Riverside Avenue Theta Chi house can no longer live there.
Wolf said those members will have to make other housing arrangements and that the university is helping those members with that effort.
The Theta Chi chapter on campus was the oldest continually run fraternity organization, which was chartered on Jan. 20, 1951, according to the chapter's website.

Almost a year ago, Ball State and the university's 13 fraternities agreed to pause social events until Jan. 31, 2018, reasons being for unacceptable behavior, according to the university.
