A new bar will be opening in The Village, just off Ball State’s campus next week.
Bevi Bistro, who have one location in Granger, will open to the public in Muncie next Wednesday. General Manager Daniel Tasson promised that the bistro is going to bring an atmosphere that is not known to the village.
“It’s bistro style food. We like to focus a lot on locally sourced foods and in this community, we feel that is something that we really need,” Tasson said, adding that the menu will feature many farm to fork options.
“It’s going to be the type of place that college kids can go on dates.”
Ball State student Lyndie Mesina, who lives in The Village, is excited to have another option when going out.
“We definitely need it,” Mesina said.
“It’s going to offer more of a variety, especially bar wise.”
While the bistro opens to the public next Wednesday, a formal grand opening celebration is expected to be announced soon.
