It's been just over one month since Ball State football ended its season on Nov. 21 and just a few days since it's graduated its early graduating seniors.
After the season, the Cardinal coaches didn't have a lot of room to breath working over the last month to prepare for the first ever Early National Signing Day.
"You have to take advantage of every day you get," head coach Mike Neu said after the team's 28-7 loss against Miami. "It's recruiting and we've got to continue to build and sustain success on the recruiting trail. We've had a lot of positive things happen recently in recruiting, but we've got to continue to build our roster.
"We learned a valuable lesson this year ... we got into a situation this year where some guys were forced into action a little earlier than they were expecting in terms of development."
Over the next 72 hours, Ball State will continue to add pieces to its roster. Here's a list of the current signees that will be updated throughout the week:

Emeka Jillani - DT - Indianapolis, Indiana
Jack Sape - DE - Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Kyron Mims - DT - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Hank Hughes - QB - Richardson, Texas
Yo'Heinz Tyler - WR - New Orleans, Louisiana
Ray Wilborn - LB - Lansing, Michigan
Thomas Lopez - OL - Middletown, New Jersey
Tyler Potts - DB - Pickerington, Ohio
According to 247sports.com, Ball State's early recruiting class ranks 101st nationally and fifth in the Mid-American Conference. The class contains six 3-star recruits , eight 2-star recruits and one 1-star recruit.
