A former Ball State professor pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography today.
Robert E. Yadon, 69, former professor of Information and Communication Sciences and director of the Applied Research Institute, was arrested last June after the Ball State University Police Department and Indiana State Police Cyber Crime Unit conducted an investigation.
Investigators found pornographic searches and digital photographs that depicted sexual conduct by children allegedly younger than 16-years-old on Yadon's university computer.
The charge that Yadon pleaded guilty to was a Class D felony, carrying a 18-month prison term.
Delaware Circuit Court 3 Judge Linda Ralu Wolf set sentencing for Sept. 2.
