Franko House, former Ball State basketball player, was released by the Chicago Bears according to a press release sent out by the organization.
The undrafted rookie tight end, who hadn't played a snap of football since his time at Concord High School, was released to make room for fullback Michael Burton.
Burton was claimed off waivers after appearing in 31 games, seven of which he started, with the Bears NFC North rival, the Detroit Lions.

House worked out with the Bears organization earlier this year before signing. The 6-foot-6, 248-pound tight end hopeful remains the only undrafted free agent to sign with an NFL team this season, but now he must look elsewhere to continue his professional football career.
